AUVSI to Host Webinar on Drone Data in Construction

Industry expert to discuss overcoming challenges of capturing and using drone data in construction

ARLINGTON, Va. – The Association for Unmanned Vehicle Systems International (AUVSI) will host a webinar to discuss using drones in the construction industry. The webinar will take place Wednesday, May 22, 2019 at 3 p.m. EDT.

Design and construction projects are complex. Whether it’s safety, rework or schedule issues that result in cost overruns or schedule delays, project managers, construction managers, architects and engineers are limited by the lack of project intelligence needed to take proactive steps to avoid issues, meet weekly or monthly progress reports, or to assess project risk.

“Overcoming Challenges of Capturing and Using Drone Data in Construction,” sponsored by ARC, will offer insight on how to leverage drones on all jobsites to reduce delays, rework, and safety issues, and drive higher performance. Attendees can expect to learn how to easily capture photos and videos, as well as use LiDAR, Thermal and IR sensor-based data at any jobsite across North America.

Adam Monk, National Director at BIM Services and ARC, is featured as a speaker and will lead the discussion.
