BERLIN – Brian Wynne, president and CEO of the Association for Unmanned Vehicle Systems International (AUVSI), the world’s largest non-profit organization dedicated to the advancement of unmanned systems and robotics, will speak on “Vehicle Autonomy as Part of a Future Mobility System” at SHIFT Automotive 2019 in Berlin, Germany, on Sept. 10. SHIFT Automotive brings together industry, government and academic leaders from around the world to explore how new automotive technology will change the way we think, live and drive.

“Education and information sharing are essential to the advancement of the unmanned systems and robotics industry, which involves highly sophisticated and complex technologies,” said Wynne. “Conferences like SHIFT Automotive provide an essential gathering place where thought leaders can exchange ideas to help achieve our collective goal of introducing innovative transportation solutions to an increasingly busy and congested world.”

A variety of technologies, including artificial intelligence, 5G telecommunications networks, and sensors and payloads, scale across the unmanned vehicle systems industry to create an exciting and promising transportation environment. In his presentation, Wynne will describe how these advancements are collectively influencing all unmanned systems domains, and will subsequently accelerate the development, deployment and adoption of autonomous vehicle systems.
