AUVSI to Host Webinar on Simulation and Testing with AR and VR
Review of augmented reality (AR) and virtual reality (VR) for unmanned systems development
ARLINGTON, Va. – The Association for Unmanned Vehicle Systems International (AUVSI) will host a webinar on “Simulation and Testing: Realistic Uses for AR and VR.” The webinar will take place on Wednesday, Sept. 18, 2019 at 3 p.m. EDT.
The capabilities of unmanned systems across domains and industries often make it appear we are living in the future. Nowhere is that more apparent than in the spheres of augmented reality (AR) and virtual reality (VR). AR and VR have been used for training in machine-heavy industries and in system capability demonstrations.
This one-hour webinar will explore the possibilities AR and VR offer and will provide a chance to discuss developing capabilities with leaders in the unmanned systems community who have already embraced this technology.
The webinar will feature Sam Blinstein, Head of Business Development, Metamoto, Inc., and Jennifer Birdsong, Director, Unmanned Systems Training Innovation and STEAM, FlightSafety International.
Registration for the webinar is complimentary for all attendees. Registration will close on Sept. 18 at 11 a.m. EDT. For more information or to register, contact AUVSI@clsstrategies.com.
