Media Registration Open for In-Person Event
Arlington, Va. – The Association for Uncrewed Vehicle Systems International (AUVSI) will host its annual defense event later this month. Rebranded as AUVSI Defense from Unmanned Systems Defense, this year's event returns in-person in Alexandria. All programming sessions are open to press.
The half-day event brings together senior Department of Defense (DOD) officials, program managers at federal security agencies and industry executives to assess current plans and future opportunities for the integration of uncrewed and autonomous systems in military operations throughout air, ground and maritime domains.
Topics of discussion include: the global balance of power in terms of Chinese AI and uncrewed technology development; developing DOD standards to drive scalability; and implications for defense and issues for Congress in the era of renewed strategic power competition.
