The Lone Star Chapter of the Association of Unmanned Vehicles Systems International (AUVSI) is dedicated to professional development, networking, public outreach, and advocacy in support of robotic vehicle systems with a particular focus on the Texas region.

Texas has hundreds of companies (large and small) working on the advancement, development and production of unmanned systems. Applications range from household & consumer items to civil and military applications, and everyday, unmanned technologies provide everything from cleaning services to search and rescue missions to improving our lives.

By taking on all manner of dull, dirty and dangerous jobs, robotics and autonomous systems help us to observe, record, understand and enhance our physical world.

Galaxy Unmanned Systems is made of a core group of industry professionals that have worked their way up first through the commercial side of the UAS industry and then the DoD side. This anomaly provides for a well-balanced experience and skill matrix that includes many of the fundamentals necessary to innovate and facilitate most unmanned systems applications. Those include; concept, design, manufacturing, certification, testing, payload configuration, subsystem integration, documentation, training and operations.
