AUVSI to Host Webinar on Use Cases with Unmanned Systems

Experts across different industries will speak on their integration of unmanned systems use and how it’s shifted their industry.

ARLINGTON, Va. – The Association for Unmanned Vehicle Systems International (AUVSI) will host a webinarto discuss use cases with unmanned systems across different industries. The webinar will take place Wednesday, Apr. 3, 2019 at 3 p.m. EST.

With a variety of industries benefiting from unmanned systems, public acceptance and confidence has shifted to increasingly acknowledge its benefits as well, including its economic potential. “Success in the Unmanned Economy: Use Cases and Advice from the Field” invites AUVSI partners from several industries who use unmanned systems in the air, on the ground and on the water to discuss how it has influenced their practices.

The webinar, sponsored by HiTec Commercial Solutions, will feature Todd Schlekeway, Executive Director, National Association of Tower Erectors, and Mark Harris, Principal Engineer, Rio Tinto – Kennecott Copper, who will share how they became involved with unmanned systems and how it changed the communications tower and mining industries.
