Curiosity Whets Scientific Appetite With Martian Soil Scoops

NASA’s Mars Curiosity rover has found water, sulfur and chlorine-containing substances in soil samples that its arm scooped into an internal laboratory. Scientists are looking forward to what it will find over the next two years. Curiosity is the first Mars rover able to scoop samples into analytical instruments.
