DoD Acquisition Chief Ellen Lord, Textron CEO Atherton Among Defense Experts to Speak at AUVSI Unmanned Systems – Defense. Protection. Security.

Senior government and industry representatives scheduled to speak at event focusing on unmanned systems applications for defense and security in Washington, Aug. 20 to 21.

 
ARLINGTON, Va. — U.S. Under Secretary of Defense for Acquisition and Sustainment Ellen Lord and Textron Systems President and CEO Lisa Atherton will be among the high-ranking military officials and senior industry executives scheduled to keynote at Unmanned Systems – Defense. Protection. Security. (USDPS). The conference, hosted by the Association for Unmanned Vehicle Systems International (AUVSI), will be held at the Washington Marriot Wardman Park on Aug. 20 to 21.

Lord will deliver the opening keynote at USDPS on Tuesday, Aug. 20 at 9 a.m. EDT. Atherton will address the conference at 11:20 a.m. EDT
