Webinar Description/Abstract: This session will focus on a few of the recent research projects from the Department of Flight at Embry-Riddle's Worldwide Campus. The topics include sUAS aerial application efficiency on small farms, low altitude BVLOS right-of-way maneuver testing, and an operational comparison between piloting sUAS and mini UUVs (ROVs). These research projects were all operational field tests where researchers piloted UAS, helicopters, and subsurface vehicles in a realistic operational environment.
