TODAY: AUVSI to Host Webinar on Drone Mitigation

Leading industry stakeholders will examine current strategies to mitigate bad actors
 

ARLINGTON, Va. – The Association for Unmanned Vehicle Systems International (AUVSI) will host a webinar to explore current strategies, emerging ideas and options for mitigating threats and preventing negative actions  by rogue and unlawful UAS operators. The webinar will take place Wednesday, Sept. 19, 2018 at 3 p.m. EDT.

“Mitigating Bad Actors with UAS and Securing Our Industry” will discuss the evolution of technology to mitigate malicious actions and how developers can use this to take preventative steps in scenarios where drones could be used by bad actors. The webinar will feature Tim Bean, CEO of Fortem Technologies, Luke Fox, CEO at WhiteFox and Trooper Michael Darrow of the Michigan State Police Aviation Unit, who will share their experiences and discuss the mitigation capabilities that are important to them.
