- A new robot called CORBYS is being developed that will assist with the rehab of stroke patients and injured warriors. (MedGadget)

- Northrop Grumman has won a $71.6 million contract modification for six vertical takeoff and landing tactical unmanned aerial vehicles by September 2014. The upgraded Fire Scout, called Fire-X, could be in service by that date. (The Motley Fool)
